About
Editorial standards
The rules this site is built on, stated plainly enough that you can hold us to them.
These are the standards CoinSoso operates under. They are published as a commitment, so that a page which fails them is visibly a mistake rather than a matter of taste.
Every factual claim carries a source
A statement of fact about a company, a fee, a licence, a reserve or a limit is only published when it can be traced to a primary source: the platform’s own fee schedule, help centre, terms of service, regulatory filing or published attestation.
Third-party review sites, forums and social posts are treated as leads for further checking, never as the source itself. If the only support for a number is that other sites repeat it, the number does not go on the page.
A fact is verified or it is labelled
Facts on this site have exactly two states. Verified means a human read the primary source and recorded it. Everything else renders as “Not yet verified”.
There is no third state in which a plausible value is inserted so a table looks complete. A field reading “Not yet verified” is a deliberate, accurate statement about our own research, not a placeholder waiting for a guess.
No scores, stars or rankings we cannot defend
We do not assign star ratings, points or an overall winner. Comparisons are presented field by field on fixed axes, with each row backed by its own source.
Where we describe who a platform may suit, that judgement is written from verified facts on the same page and is attributed to CoinSoso rather than dressed up as a measurement.
How we research
Research starts at the platform itself: fee schedules, product documentation, terms of service, help-centre articles, and any regulatory register or licence lookup the platform links to.
Each field is recorded with the URL that was read and the date it was read, so a reader or a reviewer can repeat the check. When a source changes, the recorded date is what tells us the field needs another look.
Where a platform publishes region-specific terms, the region matters. A fee, a product or an availability statement that holds in one country is not published as if it were global.
What we refuse to do
We do not invent financial figures, test results, user reviews, quotes or screenshots.
We do not invent authors or reviewers. Articles are published under the CoinSoso Editorial byline until named contributors with verifiable credentials are added, and when that happens their real names and backgrounds will appear.
We do not publish an AI-generated mock-up of a trading interface or an app screen as if it were a real screenshot. Where a real interface cannot be captured and verified, the article describes the steps in text instead.
We do not restate a stablecoin issuer’s reserve figures as our own finding. We link to the issuer’s published transparency page, because that is the authoritative record.
We do not batch-generate articles to fill section pages. A thin section is a more honest state than a padded one.
Commercial pressure stops at the draft
Verdicts, comparisons and suitability notes are written before any commercial relationship is considered. No partner can pay to change a factual claim, soften a drawback or remove a competitor from a comparison.
Where a link may earn us a commission, it is labelled on the page it appears on. Our full position is set out in the affiliate disclosure.
Availability is the platform’s call
Crypto services are restricted differently in different countries, and the terms change. This is a global English publication: every registration card offers the platform’s own sign-up flow and lets the platform apply its own country rules there. We do not pre-screen readers or claim to have verified a country list on their behalf.
Every card states that we may earn a commission, marks its registration button with rel="sponsored", and offers the plain Official Site homepage as a second action with no referral parameter. The same rule applies to any promotional offer: if we have not verified its terms, we do not state a percentage, a bonus or a reward.
Corrections and review
Each article records both a publication date and an update date. The update date changes when the substance of the article changes, not when a typo is fixed.
If you believe something here is wrong, write to us with the page and the primary source that contradicts it. A correction supported by a primary source is made and the update date is moved forward.
Nothing on this site is financial advice, and no page recommends that a particular person buy, sell or hold anything.
Getting in touch
Corrections, source suggestions and questions about our methodology are all welcome. Please include the page you are writing about and, where relevant, the primary source that supports your point.
